A free museum in a gorgeous park, donated to the locals in the early 1900s and still free today! Definitely worth a visit to find out the history of the town, the house and the surrounding area. A great little gem for Llanelli

Lovely day Yesterday 30/08/2024. Lovely gardens beautiful flowerbeds, all maintained wonderfully. Only thing spoiling the day was a man let his dog poo when we asked him if he was going to clean it up he said he would later and that he would not just leave it there. He went on his phone for a long time and then he moved to a different bench and continued to let his wander around not looking after it. The dog was called BRANDY. It's a shame as people let their children run around this beautiful park and people like that give all dog owners a bad name.

Free entrance. A wonderful small municipal museum and art gallery set in a beautiful park. Perfect for children as it's a manageable size and with an excellent hands-on science area upstairs. Friendly and helpful staff. Good collection of paintings.

Parc Howard, nestled in the heart of Llanelli, offers a delightful blend of history, art, and community engagement. Here’s what stood out during my visit: Renovated Galleries: The ground floor galleries have undergone extensive renovations, breathing new life into this historic building. Inside, a brand-new, accessible visitor reception welcomes you, complete with a gift shop offering hot drinks and snacks. Treasures from the Collection: The painting gallery houses a treasure trove of artworks from the collection. From classic landscapes to contemporary pieces, there’s something for every art enthusiast. Keep an eye out for local gems—artists inspired by the Llanelli community. Llanelly Pottery Stories: The new exhibition celebrates Llanelly Pottery, a local legacy. Learn about its history, craftsmanship, and impact on the community. Engage in family-friendly activities like dressing up, sketching, and even paper pottery making. Community Connection: Parc Howard thrives on community involvement. It’s a space where locals and visitors come together to appreciate art, culture, and heritage. Can you design your own Llanelly Pottery masterpiece? Give it a try! In summary, Parc Howard is more than a museum—it’s a vibrant hub where the past meets the present. Take a leisurely stroll through its grounds, soak in the art, and embrace the sense of community. 🎨🌿

A great day out, was had by watching the Carmarthen ukele band, at Park Howard.... However the toilets were a disgrace, Carmarthenshire County Council you should hold your heads in shame..... Gents toilets weren't cleaned, smelt of strong urine, and also no hand wash, yet you had weeks to prepare for this event, also there was no toilet paper in the ladies toilets, and no sign on the gents door to say it was for males..... A lovely park, with dirty toilets, not setting a good example at all
